Idea Player Feedback: Game-play enhancements

| Items & Craftables | HUD | QOL/Gameplay | Cosmetic |

- Craft-able crude repair kit!

- More Food Bench Tiers (variety of foods, effects and cosmetics)
Useful culinary items (mugs, bottles, bowls, plates) Drink a hot drink in a cold area and get a buff, or drink something icey in hot climates.

- Emotes Integrated:
there is so much potential for base game animated Emotes! and maybe some over-head emojis you type into chat, like "Hello ^-^" makes a smile on appear above head and /smile makes the character play the "smile" animation.

- Armor toggles:
simple visibility toggles, or maybe even a armor cosmetics workbench that uses various materials like feathers or cloth and petals, to make custom cosmetics on the armor.

- Additional item info pop-up:
I'd love for there to be a discovery process where it will tell you where you can use each item/ what bench it can be used in, but only after you try crafting something with it in that bench. example: *hover over item* [?] *place in workbench* [✓]or[ x ]

- Journey log:
discovered biomes, ores, plants, animals etc. something more tactile, you can put it in your inventory or on a book stand and read about your adventures

- Intuitive creative tools:
I'd like a small animation demonstration of the tool in use or in-game prompts instead of a big slab of text I need to sift through to make creative builds.

- Time HUD or Craftable Clock/ Sundial:
It frustrates me not knowing what time it is, and having to either jump in and out of bed, or press F7 for an ugly, immersion breaking time check. Realistically, a sun dial or clock would be the most immersive, but even a Time HUD that shows the sun and moon, or a little analog clock would be better than nothing!

- Immersive NPCs:
I personally would LOVE to see some more lively (Non-hostile) NPCs. I've always loved getting a feel for a fantasy world by seeing the inhabitants going about their daily lives, having them stand around or walk around is fine, but what about actually making stuff? or interacting with farm animals? I feel like this would bring so much life to the game. Also a bit of lore dropping would be cool too. Just like a diary or a small interaction to learn things about the inhabitants.

What do you think should be Added to the base-game Hytale?

What do you think should be Added to the base-game Hytale?
Honestly, this is a really strong list. A lot of these ideas focus on immersion and discovery instead of just adding more UI or systems, which I think fits Hytale really well.

I especially like the item discovery idea where you only learn what something is used for after interacting with the right bench. That feels way more natural than tooltips or wikis. The journey log is also a great idea – having a physical book you can read or place instead of pop-up achievements would add a lot of personality.

The food and temperature-based buffs sound very on-point for a survival game. Drinking something hot in cold areas or icy drinks in hot regions just makes sense and adds depth without being overcomplicated.

Emotes, armor cosmetics, and small HUD improvements (like a clock or sundial) all feel like good quality-of-life additions as long as they stay subtle and don’t turn into visual spam.

And yeah, living NPCs would be amazing. Even simple routines or small bits of lore would make the world feel much more alive.

Not everything here would need to be in the base game on day one, but as a long-term direction? This is exactly the kind of stuff that could make Hytale feel special.
