we’ve rolled out a new feature on HytaleTalk that makes using the forum faster, cleaner, and more comfortable on all devices.
HytaleTalk is now available as a Progressive Web App (PWA).
A PWA lets you use the forum like a real app on your phone or desktop — without downloading anything from the App Store or Google Play.
It’s still the same website, just with an app-like experience.
Android (Chrome / Edge):
iPhone / iPad (Safari):
Once added, HytaleTalk will appear on your home screen just like a normal app.
Using Chrome or Edge:
HytaleTalk will now open in its own window and can be pinned to your taskbar or dock like any other app.

How to add HytaleTalk as an app (Mobile)
Android (Chrome / Edge):
- Open hytaletalk.com in your browser
- Tap the three dots (⋮) in the top right
- Select “Add to Home screen”
- Confirm
iPhone / iPad (Safari):
- Open hytaletalk.com in Safari
- Tap the Share icon
- Select “Add to Home Screen”
- Tap Add
Once added, HytaleTalk will appear on your home screen just like a normal app.
How to add HytaleTalk on Desktop (Windows / macOS / Linux)
Using Chrome or Edge:
- Open hytaletalk.com
- Click the Install icon in the address bar
(or open the three-dot menu and choose “Install”) - Confirm
HytaleTalk will now open in its own window and can be pinned to your taskbar or dock like any other app.
Notifications
Notifications are optional.
- Your browser will ask for permission the first time
- You must click Allow to receive notifications
- You can enable or disable them anytime in your browser or account settings
If enabled, you may receive notifications for:
- Replies to your posts
- Mentions
- Private messages
- Important announcements
