Free, takes 1 minute, but the world is only online while you play. Own server: a dedicated server that runs 24/7. More work, but the world is always there and it handles more players. Hi Hytaler, short answer: Hytale uses UDP port 5520, not TCP. Most "can't connect" problems are a TCP port forward, a closed firewall, or client and server on different versions after an update.
