Heyho!
I got tired of waiting for someone to build a decent server panel for Hytale, so I built one. It's called TalePanel, it's open source, and after a few months of grinding it's finally in a state where I'm not embarrassed to
show it.
Now I need people to break it before everyone else gets their hands on it.
What it actually does
What it looks like
Dark, clean, no clown-fiesta gradients. I went with a deep navy "command center" vibe — Manrope font, glassmorphism cards, Material icons. Looks like something you'd actually want to leave open in a tab.
The stack (skip if you don't care)
Go API + Rust daemon for the heavy lifting, Nuxt 3 for the panel, Postgres + Redis underneath, all dockerized. Daemon is per-node so you can scale horizontally without it falling over.
Why I need testers
I've been daily-driving this on my own server for weeks, which means I've already trained myself to avoid the bugs. I need fresh eyes — people who'll click the wrong button, paste weird stuff into the console, run it on
hardware I haven't tried, and then tell me when it explodes.
You're a good fit if:
In return: early access, direct line to me for feedback, and your name in the credits if you find something good.
The boring legal bit
AGPL-3.0. Free forever. Commercial license available if you need to keep your modifications private.

What it actually does
- Spins up Hytale servers with one click — installer handles everything
- Real-time console you can actually type into (op, kick, world save, teleport, the works)
- Live CPU/RAM/disk graphs that don't lag
- Manages multiple nodes from one panel — host servers across different machines
- Built-in file manager so you don't need to SSH for every config tweak
- User accounts with roles + 2FA, because we're not animals
- All three Hytale auth modes (AUTHENTICATED, OFFLINE, INSECURE)
- Web panel, desktop app, mobile app — same panel, three skins

You're a good fit if:
[]You've used Pterodactyl, Pelican, or similar before
[]You're planning to spin up a Hytale server when beta drops anyway- You're okay with "this is rough around the edges" and want to influence what gets fixed first
